Staff Training explained ...

Okay, so you are now wondering how to actually sell this thing ...

Selling any 123vISP products could not be easier, you just simply tell the truth...

Take our 123vISP broadband range for example, how do you approach selling these products?

vISP Reseller ServicesWhy would a customer come to you in preference to a “free” broadband provider? There is a LOT of advertising out there promoting these FREE and VERY LOW priced products. It appears to be overwhelming doesn't it!

The answer? Its simple; the customer will receive a far better product and a far better service. They get what they pay for... It makes a BIG difference!

Let us explain why...

Most "free" broadband is NOT REALLY FREE when you actually attempt to apply for it!
There are many reasons, but the customer would usually receive a standard reply from the ISP along the lines of;
"Sorry your exchange is not enabled for this particular service, but we can enable it for you for a nominal fee?"
(this "nominal fee" will usually cost the customer around £80!)
We won't mention any individual providers here, but you know who uses this dirty tactic...
What you can offer is a completely transparent service, the simple facts are placed in front of the customer with no small print to disguise it. It is displayed in black and white! The customer pays the agreed price for the agreed product and it does not change unless the customer wants it to. There are no hidden costs!

Cheap broadband equates to high contention ratios, sometimes 1:100 and even 1:1000, that means very slow connection speeds (often equating to dialup speeds!) and frequently dropping lines having to reconnect, continuously annoying the customer.
You can only offer contention ratios of 1:50 (maximum) for home users and 1:20 (maximum) down to 1:1 for business users. We simply don't allow any "oversubscribed" services.
Contention ratios are very important, they equate to the amount of people using the same particular section of the same particular exchange at the same time.
They are the simplest reason for the vast differences in performance between good and bad broadband performance!

Contention Ratios explained further...
Imagine 2 individual people parking their individual cars in your own driveway?
Then imagine 20 individual people parking their 20 individual cars in the same space?
it is a BIG difference isn't it?
A very similar principle operates with oversubscribed contention ratios!
The actual service provided can be very (VERY!) poor and often very costly, and frustrating, for the customer when they are forced to call 08** and 09** numbers to attempt to resolve the issue. This leaves the customer quite often confused after receiving an unexpected phone bill at the end of the month.
Add to this the fact that they are calling a potentially foreign call centre talking to people with "less-than-prefect" verbal skills who are reading from their corporate "prompting scripts."

The end result?
The frustrated customer normally gives up after the call-centre experience eventually results in the call-centre blaming the customers pc! (sound familiar?)

Why are you different then?
Your service is FAR superior with local rate calls provided with contact to people they already know (you!) and who may even offer free setup for them so they don’t struggle to setup routers on their own.
A "no-hassle-service" means a very happy customer who will recommend you.  Plus you have the opportunity to sell extra hardware and services (routers, filters etc...)
